        Perfect for active people

        The Expedition is the quintessential Timex. Practical, reliable, easy to set, the white hands on black background is easy to see without my glasses, fast dry mesh band, salt water resistant materials, sturdy - the perfect watch for a fisherman or other active person. This is my second Expedition. I lost the first overboard when the band broke - essentially ripped from my wrist. I had owned it for many years and abused it greatly. It rewarded my abuse by never breaking or failing to keep perfect time.

        Had to take a link out to make it fit my...

        Had to take a link out to make it fit my skinny wrist! No problem. I used 3000 grit sandpaper on the clasp and it looks brand new again. I needed a good travel watch that wasn't worth stealing. This is great! Thanks.

        Was concerned at first but seems okay now.

        It has a few minor scratches. I knew it needed a battery when I purchased it. When I put in the new battery in it ran slow for a couple of days. It was loosing a minute per hour. But has been working fine after that first couple of days. ?
