After the heady days of the American Civil War, a middle-aged confederate officer (Gary Cooper) heads for Dallas to seek revenge. He finds his outlaw, who is now living the high life as a respectable citizen, although still a villainous land-grabber. The best cowboys.
Gary Cooper is the best. He and Randolph Scott and Joel McCrae were my favorite cowboys.
