    Dependable Single Band Router

    I like the webpage based admin screen; it lets you set just about anything about the router. I have the router in one room, and a laptop two rooms away, and the signal strength to the laptop is very good, (93%). And, the thing looks good sitting on my desk. (I like the white case.) It is a single band router, though, (2.4 GHz). Newer routers give you two bands, 2.4 and 5 GHz. This one doesn't; that's the only reason I didn't give it five stars. Oh, and the admin screen times out in just three minutes, unless you Save, or change screens. You can loose settings your working on, but haven't saved yet. That's annoying.

    excellent old, old router

    It works just fine for my ethernet desktops and handles wifi for 4 laptops. Wifi signal is good in my 720 sq ft mobile home. Installation and config is easy using the DLink website. Just follow the on screen procedure. It streams music to the desktop with no hesitation.I have mediacom cable at up to 20 gb, usually about 15.
