    AMAZING

Much better than using the normal remote. We route everything through our xbox. TV, movies, games, Netflix, Hulu. And it was begining to be a real pain having that huge remote laying around just to turn the channel or flip through netflix. I wish I would of bought one of these remotes a ling time ago. It works well, and lights up nicely. I would 100% recommend one of these is you use your Xbox One often.

    Works...

I would give it a five star review other than the issue of volume control. The remote works completely as expected if not better other than that. I have to get off the couch and stand approx 5-6 feet from my receiver in order to adjust the volume...which is the almost sole reason I purchased the remote in the first place. All be it STILL NICE, just not what I was hoping for in the end. Easy to use, always "on"(big plus), comfortable in the hand, and the light is a nice touch. In all great for a Netflix hangover recovery assistant however I actually have to GET UP to adjust the volume... Totally not what I was looking for that day I ordered it. Godspeed or happy hunting or whatever

  • XBOX ONE REMOTE

Lights up when tilted for easy use in the dark. Great price. My German Shepherds even took it outside and chewed on it for a little while and it still functions properly. Its a tough little remote you can see in the dark at a good price. Much nicer than the free android app.

  • It'll Do

Everything the 360 remote had is a miss on this one. The buttons are hard to press. And half the time I'm not sure which buttons I'm pressing because it doesn't have any name labels on it like the 360 had. And no (Y) search button for Netflix. However, I do like the feel of it in my hands and the fact that it lights up as soon as you pick it up. Which is a great feature when handling in a dark room. It could be better, but hey....it'll do.

  • Better than expected

My Xbox One is behind the TV, but the reflected IR still allows it to be controlled if the remote is directed toward the wall to the side of the TV. The remote feels like a quality device in the hand. Cons: 1) Based is curved, so it is hard to press buttons if it rests on a surface. 2) The backlit buttons are nice, but the light turns off too quickly. 3) The lack of labels means that learning the functions is trial-and-error. 4) I would have accepted a larger remote in exchange for more buttons (for example, XYAB from the game controller).

  • A step-up from the controller that came with XBOX-ONE-S

I'm 62 and never owned an XBOX before, bought one to use the 4k bluray that was built into it. The controller that came with my XBOX-ONE-S thus was confusing to use (never played a video game before), so hey, any port in a storm, and this subtitute looked good to me. It is. I agree with the other reviewers that it's a shame that it lacks bluetooth or some other feature that gets me out of having to point it directly at the XBOX console every time I use it. A big "Pro" is the fact that it lights up every time I move it -- why can't ALL remotes have that feature?

  • Better than the PS5 remote

The one thing that pushes this over the edge over the PS5 Media Remote is that the buttons light up and you can assign a button to an app. So I can have the Media App a button press away and it's super easy to see in the dark. Meanwhile PS5 gives you 4 apps on hot keys 2 of which I use. Also it's harder to see he darkZ

  • Xbox 1 s + remote = simplest home theater control ever.

I am not a novice. I have tried many solutions to include Logitechs Harmony liine. The Xbox one s + remote has really been the simplest most intuitive solution for my home theater ever. One button turns on my TV xbox and receiver, one remote to navigate through everything. No changing inputs. It really does worm without issue. However I am very proficient at getting this all set up and the initial set up may be complicated.

  • Years later

Still have this remote years later, works great. If you use your Xbox for watching discs or apps this is a must. Stop draining your Xbox controllers batteries and this is user friendly for your wife or kids.
