    Bondi 8 is improved over the previous model.

    I own several pairs of the previous model of the Hoka, the Bondi 7. I was interested to see what improvements were made to the Bondi 7. The Bondi 8 has several improvements. I have plantar fasciitis and neuralgia (nerve pain) in both feet. The Bondi 7 were getting more and more uncomfortable with my custom orthotic for plantar fasciitis. My podiatrist said to take out the orthotic and just wear the Bondi 7. Here are the previous issues with the Bondi 7. The good supportive arch made the orthotic cause the foot to roll out too much (supination) and the pressure is on the outside edge of the feet. This caused to much pain. Also, the tongue of the shoe was always sliding down and would not stayed centered. Where you slide your foot into the shoe, on the inside of the heel of the ...
