Very happy indeed, I messaged 5 sellers to ask if something I wanted was in the book, this seller was the only one who would pick up the book and take a look, not only was he helpful, his replies were very quick. Delivery was super fast and with excellent packaging. The book was just as described, and a fair price. I would happily buy again from here. Thank you again

Wow! Amazingly fast delivery, book thundered through my letter flap less than 24 hours after I placed my order. All in all, an excellent transaction. Great copy of The Girls of Rose Dormitory by Joy Francis, exactly as described, sold for a very reasonable price, safely and securely packed, sent and received astonishingly quickly. All good! Highly recommended seller.

  • The title says it all regarding these part-time flyers!

Excellent story of a great and historical ( for Scotland ) Spitfire Squadron composed of part-time flyers from all walks of life. Another god aspect of thwe book is that it also covers the efforts of the un-sung Groundcrew who also were part-timers from various engineering backgrounds including a " Red Leader " who much to his amusement came to the attention of authorities who mistook him for a Communist!

  • One of the any that made up " THE FEW "

It is very well researched and an absorbing read that reflected times long passed. As it is correctly described " A Squadron History" .
