Digitally remastered edition of the Hard Rock quartet's 1970 album housed in a gatefold sleeve with eight page booklet. Led Zeppelin were one of the most innovative and successful groups in modern music. The band has sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. Led Zeppelin continues to be honored for it's pivotal role in music history. The band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1995, received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005, and a year later was awarded with the Polar Music Prize in Stockholm.

    Vinyl is final but two LPs even better.

    Jimmy Page did a excellent job remastering this repress from the original studio open reel tapes. Its a 2LP collectors deluxe version I am reviewing with all the studio tracks on the reels released. The album arrived clean, no skips or pops, holes centered, same original album labels, perfect sleeves, perfect shape, no warps just great album manufacturing in heavy 180g. Recording is very smooth, delicate, sharp, crisp, detailed, uncompressed and revealing but gives a relaxed realistic live studio feel. In my system and I am critical, the album had lots of bass not super huge but its not suppressed, its prominent. The dynamic range was great, not open reel tape large but close, very enjoyable pace, rhythm and timing and easy on the ears unlike original CD's. I gave the new LP a wash in an ...
