In August 1922 that prophecy came true when Collins was ambushed, shot and killed by a compatriot, but his vision and legacy lived on. Tim Pat Coogan's biography presents the life of a man whose idealistic vigor and determination were matched by his political realism and organizational abilities. This is the classic biography of the man who created modern Ireland.

This item arrived in excellent condition in a sturdy cardboard box. It was securely wrapped in bubble wrap and covered with styrofoam peanuts. I’m always impressed when a book is shipped with extra care. The shipping speed was very fast and the item was as described on the website. For a book published in 1981 and being in quite good condition, I think this purchase was a decent value overall. I am pleased with my purchase and would definitely buy from this seller again. Thank you!!
