While it's been called his 'Electronic' album, Trans doesn't transport Neil into Depeche Mode territory. Instead, Trans finds Neil experimenting with an array of computers, keyboards and vocoders along with his standard guitar/bass/drums backbone. Nine tracks, including 'Little Thing Called Love', 'Computer Age', 'Transformer Man' and a drastically different version of his Buffalo Springfield classic 'Mr. Soul'. Universal.

trans album
it is not original trans album in 1982 dub step was not around my favorite song was dub stepped and it was done in poor quality of dub stepping it would have been nice to hear the song sample and hold in its originality the way it was done on the real trans album

Neil's adventure off the beaten path
If you are a Neil Young fan and you are interested in his creative ventures off the know path, then this is an interesting offering. It is not for everyone and when I first bought the album many many years ago, I just shelved it and never played it again. Recently, I was curious about this album and thought I would if nothing else have it for my collection. Well, I found that I really enjoy "Trans" now. This is the same for Neil Young's "Everybody's Rockin'"
