    For live use on vocals, a 1066 in good shape is pretty unbeatable for the money.

    Very good compressor for the price. I use mine for voice. Has bright clear highs but as other DBX units’ high frequencies get damped during high-ratio compression. Construction quality is pretty decent, dbx products are generally reliable and rugged.
