    Great video card, despite the media attention it's getting now!

    Really happy with my purchase of this card, yeah the 10 series of cards are out now, but in my humble opinon...you can't really go wrong with picking this very card up at this time for your PC build. I'm happy with mine, no complaints here. Works as was advertised in the listing I bought it from, and it was shipped very very quickly! No complaints here, I'm still a happy camper with this card, it'll last me a while! :D

    EVGA GTX 980 ACX 2.0

    Karta v pohode zvlada i najnovsie hry no ten ACX 2.0 chladic je premna novinkou. Ja osobne svoje PC mam len na custom vodnikovi a toto bolo asi po 5 rokoch co som sa stretol so vzduchovym chladenim grafiky. Ostal som milo prekvapeny ked sa ventilatore vobec netocili. Karta proste ma v klude okolo 35°C (Januar - v lete isto viac) a fany sa zacnu tocit okolo 55°C a vyssie. Skoda toho, ze ked to ma i len tych 50°C dokaze Vam to pekne vykurit vnutro bedne a ak nemate velmi dobre rieseny airflow v bedni dokaze vam teplota na ostatnych komponentoch stupnut o par stupnov. Osobne by som nato asi hodil custom firmware ktory by spustal tie fany uz pri dajme tomu 35-40°C. Sice to dokazete aj cez EVGA PrecisionX, ale bezne to ludia neinstaluju do PC bo nevedia stym absolutne robit. Takze ak nieriesite ...

    Experiment with SLI

    I've had one of the EVGA Super Super Clocked (SSC) 970's for nearly a year and have been very pleased with its performance and reliability. It consistently scores 110 fps on the Unigen Valley and Heaven benchmarks and flawlessly runs my graphics intensive software (Software engineering tools and compilers) and games (the Fallout series, Witcher series, Elder Scrolls series, Call of Duty series, etc). I'm purchasing a second identical card to play around with SLI and see how that performs simply to add knowledge and continue my 40 year adventure in personal computing. Great hobby!

    7 year old card still a solid 1080p performer for $225, where are you going to find anything like this for less then $300?

    The GTX 980 is a solid 1080p performer and can play most titles at 1440p however be prepared for the cards cooling fans to ramp up to 80% to keep it cool at that resolution. These cards before the 2020 crypto boom could be had for about $100-120 used anywhere. now you can't find one for less then $200. So at this price it's really not worth it for a 7 year old card but then again where are you going to find a card today with this kind of performance for less than $300 This makes this card a great value in today's GPU market.
