Autochron Wireless Timer
This is my second Autochron timer. I bought the first one 4 yrs ago still works never had a problem. What's great about the timer is you can have your lights go on and off at different times 7 days a week. You also can have your lights go on and off at the same time 7days a week. Great Idea, but very noisy, I will not buying it ever again.
I purchased three units at the same time. Thanks to the seller, the price was not an issue. And, yes, they came new in blister packed packages. In fact, the packaging is higher quality, than the product inside the package. The outside of the package claims, lighted buttons....not true. Easy to mount, but the slider that is supposed to fit over the toggle switch, has no adjustment to fit the slider slot to the dimensions of the toggle handle (that's the part of the switch that one pushes up or down to turn lights on or off). I had to engineer a "doo-hickey" to get the slider to manage the toggle action by grabbing the handle tightly. The product leaves much to be desired. Average design, average product. The two AA batteries don't last a month, as the load on the motor that operates the slider, is too much unless you have 15 Amp soft switches, and they always come with a thinner handle. The 20 Amp switched have a fatter handle, but they require more power to move, and the batteries run out in under 30 days. Don't buy it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

If you can figure out how to get the device to work, it is good. I purchased this switch because I want a hallway light to go off and on every day at the same time. the programming instruction are unnecessarily complicated probably due to a poor translation from Chinese. There are numerous settings; you can program up to 10 off/on settings; you can program M-F; you can program saturday/sunday BUT there is no apparent way to simply program the same time off/on every day. I have spent a couple of hours now trying to get the programming right and it still doesn't work properly. I can't recommend this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is a piece of JUNK.
This was supposed to be new but after putting in new batteries and setting up the day and time along with a program to turn switch on it doesn't work. It shows ERR on the screen.. So Far So Good
I wanted something that I didn't need to hard wire. Hard wire meant pulling wires and then try and stuff it back in the box. With the wiring being 12 ga. it is difficult to put all the wires back in the j-box, especially when there are 3 switches in the same box. Was not sure this was the right product, so I went on line to see the reviews. There were others that were on the market and most if not all were breaking within a couple of weeks to a month. AutoChron had the highest rating with over 75% with 5 stars...So I bought my first one, not being that literate on programming, I must admit it took me a couple of tries to get it right.
