Packaged sturdily in bubwrap. Item described as being "used", having some cosmetic wear and tear, which is to be expected from an older model. Really like this model, and turned it on to test and it appears functional as described. However, above and beyond "wear and tear", there is visibly white paint on the cords for all three speakers, as if painting occurred near it.
