Inspiring and Illuminating
Jaycee was just a little girl when this horrid human being kidnapped her. Jaycee was brave and strong enough to detail graphic details of what pedophile men do to poor little and defenseless children. He truly stole her life, her self, her true personality. However, she was able to stay strong and overcome her past. What an incredible message for all of those who have been thru traumatic events! Tragic but simply told story
As Jaycee only got through to 5th grade her writing skills are limited. But this is a tragic story and the truth of it is compelling enough. I’m at a loss for how she didn’t leave him much sooner than she did. It was like she was hypnotized. True but so sad
I am happy to know that after all she went through she was able to write this book. Such an inhumane thing to happen to anyone.. Yet she seems to come out of it with a good attitude, by that I mean she can still live her life and be a normal person. And she loves her 2 daughters.
