I've bought hundreds of books from goldstonebooksuk in just the last few weeks alone, because of the amazing discounts on the books for multiple-book purchases (the more books you buy, the higher the discount, all the way up to 50%!). The books have always lived up to the description, or better than described. All well-packed, with super-quick delivery. Exceptional support whenever I've contacted them. Awesome seller.

Book was delivered - it took a bit longer than what was shown on the listing, but it was okay for international delivery (3 weeks). Condition of book was very good but there was a large fold in the cover. Note that the book was sent in a plastic bag so the corners got a bit rounded on its travels. That said, the rest of the book was in good condition. Overall cost of book and delivery was very good. Sellers communication also on point. Thank you.

Thank you so much, the seller Goldstone Books for your historically amazing services. Never fails of book losses, all unconditional shipping, secured mailings, provided tracking, speedy global shipping, good prices, well cared packages, and responsibility or immediate response to any inquiries, and hard work to inform me of the shipped books. Many thanks, Arabella

    Excellent cookery book.

This is an excellent cookery book and I would recommend it. We had the same one for so many years and it was used so much that it fell apart. So pleased that I was able to get the same one

    Good cookbook

What didn't work was that the book was in good order except it had a very musty smell i had to spray it with fabreze to take the stink out of it which has and now I shall start using it. I had my previous book the same as this one but it had been so well used thar I couldn't read half of the recipes I had my first one for about 60 years so it was well read

  • Excellent cook book

I bought this book when I left university and had to fend for myself in the kitchen. I have used it daily ever since (40yrs !) but it eventually fell apart so I got a new one, second hand, but in good condition. The recipes are excellent with a good range of different meals and many interesting ideas covering starters, main courses and deserts. I recommend it to anybody.

  • trip down memory lane

This was the book that inspired me to cook back in the late 70's. But it has some absolute classics in there - good foundation recipes which are still good to have up your sleeve (not literally, obvs). Fond memories and it was pretty sophisticated for its time

  • Super cook book

I have had a copy of this for 45 years and it my most used book. This is, finally, a copy for my daughter.
