    Rewheeling my stock

    Plastic wheels on my coaches & wagons have been a constant problem as they pick up dirt & transfer it along the track which finishes up on the loco wheels. As a solution to this I am gradually fitting Hornby metal wheels to all my stock irrespective of make & have found them to be a direct replacement. Track & wheel cleaning has now been reduced as have derailments. When fitting these for use on fine scale track, back to back measurement should be checked.

    Just rolling along

    These wheels are so much better than the plastic wheels that came with a well known plastic coach kit. Better smoother running and adding a bit more weight with less chance of a derailment. Made to a good quality and overall a very good buy.
