The first time using these was for a conference call that lasted 2 hours. The ear pads are on-ear type and after about 30 minutes my ears could tell these would be going in the trash. They were simply painful. No amount of adjusting would help. The sound was good, the mic worked as expected.

The sound quality in both playback and record is great (though I do attach a foam windscreen to the mic.) While it is fairly comfortable, the ear pieces do not envelope the ear, so the foam pads sit on top of the ear, rather than surround the ear and that can be quite troublesome and uncomfortable, especially is you wear glasses or use oxygen devices. The ear cups simply been to be about 20% larger for true comfort an alleviation of pressure points on the ears.

For the price, you can't beat the 655 - and, it has enough room to fit large adult heads. The sound quality is excellent, and would be highly rated for a much more expensive headset. The only complaint I have is that the built-in mute (lifting the mike) doesn't work on my linux box.

This is my second headset. The first snapped at a point where the headset expands. I extended the earphones and put it over my head. Little pressure to expand the headset and one side snapped.
