    I have a pair of this same model of scis...

    I have a pair of this same model of scissors. This new version is very difficult to get apart and put back together. The two scissor pieces aren’t aligned properly. I had to use two pairs of pliers and a bit of strength to align the center pin so hatchet can come apart for easy cleaning. Was considering using them as a gift since I’ve loved my original ones for so many years. I would not recommend them. Not made like they used to be, but what else is new.

    Uses for the Fiskars Take-a-Part Scissors

    This is a wonderful kitchen scissors. Not only is it sharp and cuts well, you can take it apart to thoroughly clean it. I use it to cut almost anything. Need to slice those grapes in half? How about dates for that fruitcake? Need to cut up that chicken? You can even cut up the pizza. Your needs are your limit. I love it.
