      Used this snap cap, broke my firing pin anyway... I decided not to dry fire this gun anymore.

      I can't really blame the product... but I broke the firing pin by dry firing on my Tomcat .32. Even with the snap cap. The Beretta user manual warns not to dry fire, snap cap or no, but I ignored that advice... by golly turns out they're not wrong. After 200 rounds I took it to the range and suddenly, no bang. Image shows the broken one. I think it's the design of the gun - never had this problem despite never using snap caps in any gun up to now. I got another firing pin for $20, ebay of course. I needed two 1/16 punches, one short (for pounding out the retention pin) and a long punch (that bent before realizing I needed the short punch). The long punch is used to holds the firing pin in place so you can tap in the retention pin as you withdraw the punch. No more dry-firing for me, ...

      A-Zoom .32 Snap Caps

      Work perfectly. They primer seems to snap back quickly and they fit great. The color helps to easily differentiate between live ammo so there is no mistaking them. Cycle through my .32's fine. Although they do take some damage from the mag and ejector because they are aluminum, which I would rather happen than them damaging the firearm.

      Great Caps

      These caps work great. I cycled all the caps through my Kel-Tec 32 without a hitch. The caps work just like bullets minus the explosion. I recommend these caps and would buy again.

      Metal snap cap fake ammunition for safe training.

      These metal snap-caps allow multiple means of safe practice and function testing for a firearm. They have the advantage of not being able to be visually mistaken for real ammunition, lending toward further safety, and the rubber impact point in place of a primer cushions the firing pin.

      Smaller than real .22 rounds

      Good for practicing, but after measuring the .22 ones and finding them slighter shorter and slightly thinner than Federal, Remington, and CCI ammo (the only brands i compared), I hesitate to use them during gunsmith adjustments.
