It is a little bit thicker so it can be fit very tightly in the slot. The string spacing is just a little wider for a touch more finger room. But most importantly the nut slot sides are taller and the slots have less downward angle towards the tuners, this better supports the D and G strings. Great product, great price, fast shipping.
