  • A great book to compliment a great movie and an amazing novel.

Definitely a must have for "Lonesome Dove" fans. The book has great pictures and details about the making of the movie and is a great addition to any library. The book contains interviews from the cast, film crew, along with insight from Larry McMurtry. A great book for a great price. I bought the book to add to my "Lonesome Dove" collection and have enjoyed it thoroughly. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the movie and the novel. Very detailed information comparing the movie to the novel as well.

  • The Quintessential Book for Lovers of Lonesome Dove

The book is not only absolutely lovely to look at—the photos are divine—but it’s also such a wonderful insight into the making of Lonesome Dove. Thank you so much!
