    • Great detail of how jungle came about

This book is so good it's funny. Organized like an encyclopedia, it details a range of artists from the 90s. Unless you were there - in the early 90s, at Rage, and Speed, and Blue Note - you stand to learn a tone about the roots of jungle and drum n bass. The writer goes into great detail about the seminal tracks of the leading artists. By exploring these tracks on youtube, you can really get a taste of how jungle and darkcore emerged from acid house and breakbeat. If you're into drum n bass and jungle, like really into it, this is required reading.
