About this product

Product Information

He has cooked for prime ministers, ousted Hollywood actresses from his restaurants, set records for cursing on television, and changed the way Britain eats. As famous for his volatile persona as he is for his cooking, Gordon Ramsay remains London's most talked-about chef, an international sensation whose eponymous restaurant boasts three Michelin stars. And with his hit television show, "Hell's Kitchen," Ramsay is now a household name in the US. At 18, Ramsay was a professional soccer player; at 30, he was a multi-millionaire. So how did he end up in the kitchen? In this, the first biography of the star chef, Neil Simpson offers a fresh perspective on one of the most driven and successful men in Britain.

R autobiography and really enjoyed it ,so if you like his series then i would advise you to read his book ,i don`t normally read autobiographys if i am honest ,, but i saw this advertised and really wanted it, hubby brought me it and i couldn`t put it down, you get to understand and know him as a great person , you respect him and see into his life a story that i thoroughly enjoyed, its very very interesting, go get it ,, you won`t be dissapointed..

  • Great book for little money

Great book of a great chef... So hard life and committed life... The book shows how can life be hard, and in a moment can become so great, with just some work. I look Gordon with different eyes now

  • Great Brittish Read

Once you get past the Brittish terminology this is a fascinating book. It's about a famous man who worked very hard and sacrificed a lot to get where he is. Anyone who wants to know why the man curses so much and is hard on his staff should read this!!
