not a total loss, threshold amp at best, not 3000 watts , more like 100 bridged.

This amp is the start of building a great PA or DJ sound system

What most don’t understand about a power amplifier is by itself? And just music being feed into it? Will underestimate the power ability of an amp like this. But put the Rockville RPA-20 ( pre-amp) in between the music and this amp.. powered by two Rockville SP-9(?) subwoofers and you will knock windows out of place... I use this amp strictly for bass. Nothing more. Although you can. By a switch in the back of the unit. Bring more music spectrum with full range speakers But Paired with this sub bass system I use 2 sets of 2000 watt ‘active’ PA speakers ( 2 sets for stereo) for the mid range and highs. Now you really want to blow the roof off a building? The RPA-9 is designed to handle four 8 ohm subwoofers At one time. You double the watt output and double the bass!! My system is ...

    NOT VERY POWERFUL

The RPA9 is not 3000 watts. Its a good amp for small stuff. Pro- It has diffrant types of media hook ups. CON -- it only does maybe 100watts in the bridged mode only. Even less in stereo.

  • 100% lightweight good features buy again...

Good, I like it sounds great to my hearing. Maybe a headphone jack would be good.

  • Great Power Very Lightweight

I don't understand why some reviewers rated these as underpowered. I bought 2 of these because the price was right. My speakers are 600 watts RMS at 4 ohms. One amp can power both my speakers at 400 Watts RMS at 4 ohms at a pretty loud and clean volume. I can use the bridge mode on both amps and push 800 watts RMS at 8 ohms. These amps are very versatile and are priced right. I will be using one amp in bridge mode with the low pass filter enabled to push an 18 inch subwoofer. The other amp will then push all mids and highs to my main speakers. The amps work perfectly in that configuration for me.

  • I think it will be perfect for small venus of 150 people. like the look of it in my rack system and they don't weigh 40 pounds, and that's a blessing.

Using the RPA9 to power two Yamaha SV 115's and the RPA5 to power a Yamaha 18" sub, I am still building my rack system for 2021 shows need to get a 15 x 15 EQ and a BBE sonic max before I really try it out.
