DS9 fans should get this dvd! It provides some closure all the way to the possibility of a new season or series!!!! Get it, you won't be dissapointed.

Definitely not worth the purchase price
Not as expected. A true example of the trailer being way better then the actual finished product. This documentary definitely missed the mark. Not keeping on focus those who took part weather small or large in the making of the DS9 series. The documentary does have a few very good moments but very brief at that, of cast members retelling their memories sometimes in very emotional and heartfelt moments that just leaves you wanting even more. But then... Both Directors Ira Steven Behr and David Zappone thought it was a wonderful idea to use much, if not, a lot of the documentary time just sitting around with some past DS9 coworkers/friends and cook up some Crazy Star Trek DS9 storytelling segments by imagining all well known DS9 characters from the series by putting them all together ... Not as expected. A true example of the trailer being way better then the actual finished product. This documentary definitely missed the mark. So Much Opportunity Lost. A different documentary "Chaos On The Bridge" directed by William Shatner, A must watch, shows the conflict and trials and intimate interviews on detailed events surrounding Gene Roddenberry's efforts on trying to get TNG underway. Definitely Highly Recommend It. But as for "What We Left Behind Looking Back At Star Trek: DS9" Not even worth full rental price Maybe as a discount rental only if, and when you're bored out of your mind in the early hours on a weekend with absolutely nothing to do.

A fun trip
A fun trip through what was behind my favorite Star Trek series. They even included some of the negative mail that the show received. The naysayers apparently didn't get enough shot 'em up space cowboy action to suit them. They couldn't take the introduction of real life problems into their limited universe.

A "must have" for DS9 fans!!!
Informative in a non- spoiler way. It was entertaining with the actors' point of view and their connection to their characters. Also provided confirmation of how we learned to love this show in spite of the distinct difference between it and the other beloved Star Trek series. DS9 ended up being my favorite of all the series!!!
