When I'm on my bike the sound of the exhaust is Alot less and when I'm inside an office with the radio going it softens it, I can hear peoples voices but they are softer. Everything is softer they are awesome, I can hear some of my internal sounds like swallowing, chewing and eating, breathing etc. but it's not that bad compared with what I can normally hear without them. Very awesome product
