    AWNING STRAPS:- saved us a bill of £3000 a year later.

    After loosing are Awning in 2017 whilst in Spain, we struggled to find a product that was cost affective. these products range in price from £7:99 up to £50:00. The cheaper one go over the awning it self, which in time damages the material (rips). where these Awqning straps go on the rail & are sprung loaded to allow for a slight movement. They work as in the last few weeks we had some nasty winds, but are Awning stayed in tacked, whilst other got baddly damaged. GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY, SAVED US ANOTHER NASTY BILL OF £3000. for a new awning. Would recommend to all my motorhome friends.

    A bit overpriced for what you get but does the job.

    Probably stronger than para chord type guy lines and standard pegs.The rectangular top strap eyes are not designed to allow you to position straps at an angle, only perpendicular to the front beam. Pegs are nice and beefy so pack a bigger hammer. I think that cam lock buckles would be stronger, easier to tension and would last longer than the plastic belt type clasps.

    Easy to use

    The strap, steel pegs and metal fixings at each end are strong and sturdy but the plastic strap adjuster broke whilst adjusting the length of the strap. Have joined it with cable ties. Hence 3 stars, if not for that I would mark it 5 stars.
