I should have just asked the seller to send the right one. Even though it was the wrong one, it was still well packaged and protected. It didn't matter that it was an out-of-box item.

    Was in like new condition. All function...

    Was in like new condition. All functions work well. No scratches or missing finish. Screen is easy to read. I use these recorders every day to make field notes. I am outside in dirt, wind and sometimes rain. If recorder gets wet you just need to air dry it and it will work again. Sound quality for notes is good. You do need to shelter the microphone from wind but other than that works great. Recordings are good for normal talking. Not good quality for music.
