    good for kids

    there aren't any noise-cancelling headphones marketed for kids. these are great because they actually fit a small head (my daughter is 3yo) and also because they have a noise reduction feature for old planes where the minimum volume is high and hurts your ears when you listen with noise-canceling activated. they also have a retractable cord, which is really useful. with the longer cords, kids usually get themselves all wound up. to be honest, I am not so concerned about the quality of the sound, as my concern is not having loud sound blasting in my kids ears on long flights (we do a lot of long-haul flying).
