build quality is 5/10maybe my one was like this, but it doesn't keep good in the camera mount, also is a little gap between the adapter and lens, also that little *button*, one time my nikon liens just fall down, I was shocked, thanks my lens didn't broke. I added a little silicon circle between lens and adapter, now it's keeping better, but any way, it's a little scary to use it now(((

Avoid this Fotga model. Out of spec machining.
Having used Fotga adapters in the past with success, I didn't hesitate to buy another when I needed a Canon FD lens adapter for Sony E mount. Unfortunately, this model has major flaws that prevents if from operating properly and wear out prematurely. 1. The FD mount is machined out of spec. It is a little more 1 millimeter too narrow. It prevents the lens from seating centered and attaches off center each time. The image is always de-centered and one side will always be blurry. 2. The out of spec mounting surface is plain aluminum. And is easily worn down by the steel breech mount of the lens. Mine has already a shaved groove of removed aluminum. 3. The E mount release pin slot is machined too large and the adapter will slip back and forth as you turn the focus ring. It's only a ... My other Fotga and competing brand E mount adapter don't have this issue. The first problem is the deal killer. It renders this adapter useless for its intended purpose. I've only had one other problem with Fotga adapters, and that was for a Nikon F mount to Sony E mount version that will not fit onto the later Sony all-metal mounting ring. Not entirely their fault given it may be previous stock. This Canon FD problems are poor engineering and quality control. I will not be purchasing this brand again. And will choose Fotasy instead. Those have been perfect in fit and finish.
