    The date on the packaging is 2017. The battery cannot be changed in these, and they only have about a 10 year shelf life. So the decent price reflects a prorated use of the tool considering a new one from Ford, up to date, is around $40+/- From experience, this will last 3-5 years at best. I thought it was an old photo, but I was wrong, I should have asked first. But for the price, it is a genuine Ford Product, even if outdated. No huge disappointment . Thanks.

    Great value... AND worked!

    This item is used to "re-program" your Ford tire pressure monitoring sensor in your vehicle. A TPM fault message that doesn't go away means that the sensor batteries are likely dead. They come from the factory with about 10 years of battery life. My vehicle is a 2007 Lincoln MKX, so as of writing this review, the car is about 16 years old so the sensors needed to be replaced first. This reset tool is used to reprogram the system and reset it. The Product came in original sealed Ford OEM factory packaging. It does not come with user instructions, but you can easily find a tutorial on Youtube or the internet, which is what I did. It took a couple tries, but it worked.
