    They work! And they should, Buchanan crimps for a Buchanan tool...

    What's to say - they work. I'm rewiring an older place with 12 gauge wire runs for both receptacles and lighting - all tied together, which was the norm "back in the day". Using the crimp connections is slower than a wire nut, but the smaller size of the crimp allows addition of additional grounds to meet current technology, eg, grounded switches, without overcrowding the older, smaller volume boxes.

    The best connector.

    I have used these for years becasue they work so well. Make sure your connection is correct becasue you have to cut them off. I use wire nuts for temp work and then use Buchanans for the permanent connection. They really bite into braided wire once it is twisted tight.
