yes it has long range but it is slow I have 150 meg service and this thing only does 5 or 6 megs but yet it has a full 5 bars of signal it is not worth the money. I have a small $10.00 adapter with 2 small antennas on it and it does 25 megs but is not meant to be outside. Plus this thing is only 2.4 hertz would like to ship it back and get my money back and the listing is a lie says it ships from Hebron, Kentucky, but really ships from California and is shipped by DHL or as i call it pony expres
