This is the second Lennox 10 sheet Cross Cut Paper Shredder I've bought. I really worked the first one hard and jammed it up one time too many and decided to put it into retirement and try not to overload this new one. I find ten sheets is stretching it a bit. Nine sheets is a better load. In saying that, I still think the shredder is value for money and am very happy with my purchase .

    Easy to use

    This shredder is easy to use, easy to set up. The only very minor issue is that the "bin full" light comes on when there is still room because the shredded material tends to build up in one place. Remove the shredder, spread the material out and you're good to go again.

    Questionable quality

    After its initial (minor) workout, this shredder now makes very loud grinding sounds when free spinning - as if it needs a good oiling. Under load, it’s fine. According to the instructions, There are no requirements to oil the machine, so I haven’t. Instead, I am sort of waiting for it to jam up!

    Rather heavy for lifting to empty bin.

    Needed to purchase a power adaptor as it only has a 2 pin plug for China power outlets. Seems to overheat easily, only putting in 3 or 4 sheets at a time. Now it has just ceased up altogether. So all in all not happy with this purchase.

    A shredder that SHREDS

    Best shredder I've ever used, and the size of the shreds is such that it is impossible to match in a reconstruction ...I would recommend this shredder to anyone wanting to "destroy" documents, credit cards etc. I am well pleased with my purchase.
