The book is in "reasonable" condition! not vg condition as described- front cover permanent fold over on arrival, packed this way ? pages are yellowing. Seller may be best to place a description "proper" of actual book being sold on the listing with photos so buyers know what they are receiving for the price paid.

  • A good read

This is one of a series of “Lost Railways...” and written in an easy style, highlighting certain Branch Lines is the UK now lost forever. Decent photos, all monochrome. You can pick this type of book up, read a chapter, then put it away again any time. Gives a potted history of each line covered, but I found it adequate. Good book for the modeller, details of train formations and timetables make this book a great “go to” read. Only one thing to watch out for is the binding on the books can be a little flimsy and prone to pages becoming detached, but this does not mean all volumes are like that. I’d highly recommend this book. Check around for cheapest prices, most sellers offer post free options.
