Great Dongle.
Dongle does what a Dongle does. Im still behind the times. Havent used my fitbit for awhile. Found out that Fitbit connects no longer exists? So a Dongle is no longer needed. I guess only use the Fitbit app on your phone. I could be wrong. So you might want to double check on this info. But as far as Dongles go. This is a great Dongle for the price. Works as it should. Useless for the Charge 2
I purchased this Dongle for the Charge 2, but, later found out that it is really not worth the effort. I am using a Windows machine and the system will not recognize the unit, nor will it update the firmware of the Charge 2. So, while it probably works in another system, it doesn't work in mine. The seller is not to be maligned or misconstrued to be other than an upright good merchant. The item was shipped quickly and efficiently. The problem is the software used by FitBit and the inability of the system to properly use the Dongle. I purchased this Dongle for the Charge 2, but, later found out that it is really not worth the effort. better than expected
I was apprehensive that a dongle this much cheaper than the Fitbit one wouldn't work but it did work as soon as I plugged it in. I use it with the Fitbit Zip. It looks just like the old one I lost. It also arrived sooner than the expected date.

Out of sight, out of mind.
This Bluetooth USB Dongle for the Fitbit family of lifestyle trackers is quite awesome. I had zero difficulty using it. Install the software first, once it asks for the dongle, plug in, start syncing with your Fitbit, and you are done. It took me longer to set up the Fitbit with my iPhone than it did with my PC. I'd highly recommend.
