Well I thought I give it ago, I have two lap tops and a Mac mini, all meet required spec for device, it records poorly on the laptops and doesn’t like to record video panning smoothly on the Mac mini. Tried everything I could to make it work, using OBS studio.
Even other software I have, no good.
Just a waste of $10. My advise , avoid this item and go look for a decent item

I purchased this usb capture dongle, hoping it would enable me to watch hdmi video and audio straight from my satellite TV receiver to my computer desktop. It worked first time! Drivers were downloaded from the internet automatically. I really didn't expect it to work this well, as I am only running an Intel e5700 dual core, and Windows 7. I am using VLC as the capture software. Very happy �� with this cheap capture device!

This device will actually work as it described. However, it was my high expectation which lead my own disappointment. There is no control or setting for it and I believe it only records sound in mono mode. Haven't fully tested all scenario. I shouldn't have expected much from a $10 device.
