The result was mass crossover success, something that both the pop and rock audiences could easily latch onto. Foreigner's self-titled debut from 1977 is the epitome of classic rock: big guitar hooks, melodicism, simple driving rhythms, and sexually charged lyrics. Two of Foreigner's best-known tracks, "Double Vision" and "Cold as Ice," are included here, as are such strong album cuts as "Long Way From Home." FOREIGNER was a multi-platinum success--with just one try, the band found itself at the top of the hard rock heap.DVD Features:Region 0Audio: Dolby Digital 5.1 - English MLP Stereo - 48 kHz - 24 bit MLP 6-Channel - 96 kHz - 24 bitAdditional Release Material:Bonus Audio TracksAudio Commentary - Track-by-track commentary by Mick Jones & LouGramm, plus audio documentary on the making of the album.Music Videos - Feels Like The First Time, Cold As IceInteractive Features:Interactive MenusText/Photo Galleries:Photo GallerySong Lyrics Video Playlist :1. Arrived as described new in sealed plastic. Shipping took a bit long but I contacted the seller and he explained reason as to why it had not shipped accordingly. I was perfectly fine with his situation and he mailed the cd on the promised day and date. Basically this was a good transaction.

Although I have not had the opportunity to spin the record (in the process of moving w/both of my turntables packed away), I did not want to delay the entire transaction with MOREGUNN any longer. Thus far, the item is as described and the packaging and shipping was as stated with no issues. Once I have a chance to play the LP, I will update feedback accordingly. For now, I would strongly recommend this ebay trading partner to any of my fellow ebayers.

  • Foreigner....on hard to find DVD-A !!!

I was looking forward to this disc for some time now...waiting for a chance to purchase it at a reasonable price,(price I can afford)and here it is ! I got it ! I purchased this (and other DVD-As)for the superior sound quality and even more for the SURROUND SOUND !!! I love a well made surround sound ! The surround mix on this disc is smart, puts the surround speakers to good use. As they should be.The sound isn't as sharp,as clean as EJ's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road but still very good ! The track by track audio commentary by Mick Jones and Lou Gramm is a very cool and welcomed bonus ! If You like Foreigner or just good music....You can't be disappointed by this disc ! Well worth every penny ! ENJOY !!!

  • It is very important for me to hold this first album(1977) for my first Biz

1.During i enjoy the perfect DVD-audio quality of EAGLES, i decide to provide another source because WB maker did not release any more(in the biginning of 2000). 2.Foreigner's lead vocal was amazing for hard rock. First I decide to buy their first album(1977). 3.This album had been decided to keep the celebration for entrance of Samsung during 4th grade of university(1977). 4.My first winner of bid should be this item also in ebay. I will buy/collect continuously dvd-audio discs in ebay

  • It'll Feel Like The First Time....

High resolution formats are fantastic and this release is not an exception. This is the best digital version of this classic debut album. The clarity of the vocals on Damage is Done, the depth in First Time and Starrider make it seem like if you had never really heard the album before. Like all Foreigner records, there are some hits and misses on this one, but the misses are less, the hits strong, and the album tracks favorites. Strongly recommend - if you can get a copy. (I am still searching for a copy of the 4 DVD-A)

  • surround mix was underwhelming

I thought the surround mix was underwhelming. Not bad. Just not great. The autograph by Lou Gramm added value.
