About this product

Product Information

Jemima Jones is overweight. About one hundred pounds overweight. Treated like a maid by her thin and social-climbing roommates, and lorded over by the beautiful Geraldine (less talented but better paid) at the Kilburn Herald , Jemima finds that her only consolation is food. Add to this her passion for her charming, sexy, and unobtainable colleague Ben, and Jemima knows her life is in need of a serious change. When she meets Brad, an eligible California hunk, over the Internet, she has the perfect opportunity to reinvent herselfas JJ, the slim, beautiful, gym-obsessed glamour girl. But when her long-distance Romeo demands that they meet, she must conquer her food addiction to become the bone-thin model of her e-mailsno small feat. With a fast-paced plot that never quits and a surprise ending no reader will see coming, Jemima J is the chronicle of one woman's quest to become the woman she's always wanted to be, learning along the way a host of lessons about attraction, addiction, the meaning of true love, and, ultimately, who she really is.

"Dean Family Enterprises" provided me with an excellent Customer Service experience! Their Description of the book was 100% TRUTHFUL...the book IS in "Very Good" condition. They mailed it to me in a bubble-lined poly mailer envelope, which pretty much ensured that I would receive it in the condition in which it left their possession. Lastly, but equally impressive, was how promptly they got it to me...I received the book super-soon after ordering it!!! This is a Great Seller...thank you!!!

  • Jemima Jones

Hmmm...well i bought it b cuz a friend said that it was a book to just die for, with a twist at the end that you would NEVER see coming. I did see it coming, and the book was kinda just blah. It was a quick read, but not necessarily b cuz it was good, just b cuz i wanted to get through it. It's about a bigger girl who thinks that her life will be everything she has ever dreams of if she loses weight and looks perfect. Needless to say, she was wrong. My friend really loves it though, she has read it numerous times.

  • Great Book

This is a great book. Jane green is my favorite author. At first, I was hestitant to by the book because I didn't think I would find it interesting. Well, I was wrong. Once you begin the book, you can't put it down. A must read.

  • Jane Green's book Jemima

This book is wonderful I have read it before and had to buy, it is the story of a chubby girl who wants to be happy and thinks being thin is where it is at. She goes through tons of obstacles to get thin and when she does it is not quite what she expected, she is not sure if she is happy or if this is where she wants to be in her life. It is a wonderful book once you pick up you can not put it down.

  • To see through the eyes of a very full figured woman

A love story seen through the eyes of a very full figured woman. It tells the story about a woman who's determined to turn her life around. A woman who decides to make the change by changing her lifestyle and working hard to do it in order to get the hunk that she wants. It's wonderful going through her metamorphosis each step of the way. You'll love the whole story.

  • a MUST read!!!!!

I love this book and have literally read it HUNDREDS of times.....it is a real motivator to me when it comes to weight loss! It is a great story that gets you hooked from beginning to end....never gonna want to put this one down!!
