Interesting book that I highly recommend

I was impressed with this book by Dan Brown and hope to read others by him. He was very opened minded about the Bible and Christianity. I am a Christian and as a child was taught the Bible literally so some of his ideas take some thought. That is ironic since the book is about "thought and creativity". Interesting take on all. I enjoyed it very much. I especially enjoyed the Masonic history and the connection to Christianity. Highly recommended as a great read.

  • The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown

I love Dan Brown. The Lost Symbol contained new ideas about how we view ourselves and our world that I found interesting and helpful. I am a "Christian" but have problems with interpreting the Bible literally. I am not a fundamentalist. The Lost Symbol provided an alternative interpretation I believe is possible. Some of the Masonic themes, however, I found a bit far fetched; probably because my husband is a Mason; however, he does not belong to the Scottish Rite which is featured in the book. The book's introduction to Noetic science was very fascinating to me and reassuring. I googled Noetic science and was amazed and reassured by what I found. I would recommend this book for anyone looking for entertainment to alternative religious thinking.
