    Great read, Mounds and mounds of information I will refer to it often.

    Taylor's review of the Rifles and ammo he used to great success makes for a good read for anyone thinking about going to Africa and doing some dangerous game shooting. Gunsmiths can also benifit from this read, there are very clear descriptions of the different types of rifles being utilized and elaborates on some of the more appropriate setups of these actions. Taylor also makes suggestions to the gunsmith who may be reading as to what improvements/modifications should be made to keep the shooter safe and have a successful hunt. Handloaders may find this book dated when it comes to the description of ammunition loadings available and there ballistics, but he does make great arguments for lower pressure loads and how velocity and trajectory of a bullet should be considered for Africa.
