Exposing cognitive biases like no other

This book uncovers the typical human biases that surface when one is faced with making decisions under uncertainty. Although I personally found the book to be going into too much details in places, the general moral of the book is that our thought process is riddled with flaws and sometimes we really ought to stop and think hard about decision we make especially when those decisions are concerned future financial gains/loses. For me as a trader/speculator in foreign exchange this book was an eye opener and has provided useful guide to decision making process in live markets.

I am sure there is nothing like this on the shelves and is not to be confused with a self-help book that merely motivates you without education. This book will explain how it is possible that our brains and the decisions we make automatically every second of the day ...

  • Purchased as a gift

Book was purchased as a gift. My daughter had it on her wish list for Christmas. I know nothing about the book, sorry.
