Replacement Aladdin Cartridge
These cartridges seem to have a life of about 5 years at which point they leak. Whilst operating normally they work exactly as described and there is no air present in the system (I have one fitted at the highest point). Fitting a replacement is easy and a quick solution to the leakage problem. Highly recommended.

These simply did not work beyond the first cycle.....
These worked once only. I fitted them, they let out the air from the radiator and then sealed. Then they stayed that way even though the radiator collected more air from a recently-drained and refilled system. I was patient - they are supposed to take their time to dry out and cycle again, but no joy. I have since taken them out of the HV30C valve and had them drying out on top of a warm radiator for ten days. They remain resolutely blocked. I have had better success with the micro-versions on older radiators, but these cartridges are stuck fast and just do not work.These worked once only.
