Lindsey Buckingham, the genius behind Fleetwood Mac.
As a rediscovering Fleetwood Mac fan I have read Storms by Carol Ann Harris for an insight into the band and in particular Lindsey Buckingham, the musical genius behind much of their music. He struggled to follow his creative path with the “big machine” and it forced a solo career, “the small machine”. His music is more edgy than FM so don’t expect to hear the FM style but the video includes songs which were intended for his solo album whilst he was still with FM and which he donated to them. For someone who can’t read music and is self taught ,his distinctive no pick guitar playing is nothing short of outstanding and his voice is not what it was in his youth. That is to be expected and if you accept that this isn’t a Rumours style compilation you won’t be disappointed. He has moved on and ...
