    Heart is back at it again

    Anne and Nancy Wilson took their time writing this latest Heart release (6 years since the last one) and it really shows. Done in an acoustic vein they draw from decades of inspiration and musical experience to produce a cd full of great music. Every song is good, and I really do not think that you need to be a lifelong devoted follower of the sisters to think so. This is one of the more exciting new releases this summer for me since its been quite a while now since the last rock n roll cd "Jupiter's Darling" and this latest release shows that the band still has the creativity to make good music. You should check it out.

    Great a new Heart album!

    I would love to say this is great, but the recording side of production was not up to stuff. Ann voice is great, Nancy and the band are tight, and pounding. Best music I seen in long while. I love where band has done. It's powerful, griding, and the lyrics are meaningful. The art work on the cd needs a lot of work. I seen cheap ads look better. I don't know what they are up to in the sense of recording and production, but spend the money and have real professional do the work. I have a staff of people who can do a better job.

    A Heart That Still Beats - But Not That Fast

    When you start listening a new album and can't stop watching the clock to see the remaining time, something has got to be wrong with it, and I hate to admit that's how I felt when listening to Heart's "Red Velvet Car". This is not because the album is lengthy - it runs for over 35 minutes only - but because songs are not exciting or worth deserving a second chance - to me. I would normally like to see them coming back to their roots of the 70s or even to their most popular phase in the 80s, when both Ann and Nancy were capable of delivering really high and deafening, earth-shaking, glass-breaking notes, but any fan should recognize that we are no longer in that era and time has come for everyone. I truly respect this attempt for a revival, and there are a couple of songs that resembles ...

    Heart's Red Velvet Car Drives To The Winner's Circle

    A music release that returned this band to the top ten on Billboard's LP chart, 2010's "red velvet car" proved that Heart was still making great music after all these years. "Sand" by that point was a staple of their live shows. And had previously appeared on the Wilson sisters side project, Lovemongers "whirlygig," The version heard here, which closes the disc, is one of their best songs. If you haven't listened to their more recent music releases, you are in for a treat with this one. Heart's "red velvet car" is a must own disc.

    As a long time heart fan, I enjoyed this this release better then then there last few. A return to form with good production.
