Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in iPods & MP3 Players
The nano I received was at least 5 years old. The battery would go dead 20 minutes or less. After replacing it with a battery that cost a total of $7 including shipping it plays over 10 hours using the RockBox firmware. easy install requiring no technical knowledge to enjoy. Why do I use rockbox? So I can play .ogg files with better quality audio over MP3. If I had bought into iTunes music, I might not care about .ogg.
Liked the size and its ability to load my favorite tunes. Small enough to use while even doing yard work.

The ipod is good for listening to music at the train when going to school..... the protection that came with the ipod is also good and quality is excellent.... the battery life is the thing that bothers me that it can last about 8-10 hours and also the space it said that it can hold up to 1000 songs but barely can hold 500, which is reasonable to have.
This is my second iPod Nano purchase that is manufacturer authorized refurbished. One for the bathroom dock. The iPod looks new with tiny minor scratches. Battery life is like new too. Works well and the sound quality rivals my ITouch. Great deal for a fifty buck Mp3 player. Can't beat an Apple iPod used, new, or refurbished. I could have bought a new MP3 player from a different manufacturer at a comparable price....Naw, I'm really happy with Apple products.
I bought this as a gift for a student at my school who was graduating. I made a deal with her in 6th grade that if she stayed out of trouble and kept her grades up, I would get her one for graduation. I have always liked the 1st and 2nd generation of Ipods, as I own several myself. My own daughter bought me my first one. They are easy to program on the computer whether with your own music or through the Ipod store. Battery life is pretty good. If I listen to mine alot, I just charge it overnight. If I haven't been using it, I try to remember to charge it about every other week. This is a good beginner Ipod for kids. I have been completely satisfied with all of my Ipods. 1st generation Nanos have come way down in price and is a good investment for parents to give their children without breaking their wallet. This is the simplest one to use, compared to the newer ones that have more "bells and whistles". A++++++++++Read full review
