    Giles and Kendall Cedar Oil

    This stuff is great! I used it to freshen up a 50 year old cedar closet. It is very concentrated, so use it sparingly. I used a thin sponge applicator with a handle, one designed to apply paint. This product worked very well. It not only brought back that great cedar smell, it brightened that old wood. One precaution, use gloves and ventilate the area as the scent can be very powerful until it has a change to soak in.

    Wanted it to be the best, But.....

    I cannot smell anything,.... no cedar smell at all. For that reason how can I have confidence it will do anything?? I was looking for a product with a rich cedar smell & potent bug repellency. The last time I bot cedar oil it had a rich, rich cedar smell like one of my cedar chests. Unfortunately, I can't remember where I bot it from!!! Thought this would be a winner,... but my nose says otherwise. Disappointed. EARNS 1 STAR.

    good product and good value

    This is a great product to renew the cedar aroma to cedar wood items. I even used it on teak inside my bathroom to impart a cedar smell. A little goes a long way, making it a great value. When applying make sure you have ventalation as initially the odar is very strong. It eventually tones down to a pleasant smell.

    Does a good job and also along with a good smell

    new cedar chest really soaks it up. makes the colors jump out. took 4 coats to do it nice and now will be easy to do it as needed. it has a nice protected (from the son etc) finish that is soft and smooth. Great Cedar Oil and really goes a long ways.
