Smallville has brought me more enjoyment and entertainment than any series ever!
There is only good to say about SMALLVILLE - there is no bad at all. This series is perfect in every way. Perfect storyline, perfect scripts, perfect locations, perfect wardrobes and most importantly a perfect cast! I'm almost a senior citizen and have seen many series come and go and this is the only one that devastated me when it came to an end. Thank God for this wonderful Complete DVD set. Two beautiful albums with glorious pictures and outstanding documentation of each episode for each disc; totaling 62 discs This set has saved this wonderful show for generations to come in a most perfect way. It would have to be perfect to bring this uplifting, moral and beautifully written epic of Clark Kent on his journey to becoming our beloved hero - Superman! Not long enough
i do wish that smallville would have went a lot longer. It was by far the best superman series. I mean i loved the Dean Cain superman series as well but smallville was just way better over all. I do not like the ending though it was really cheesy and would have loved to see a fight against more top villians but oh well maybe another superman tv series is on its way that will be even better in the battles.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not so SMALL!
I never saw this series when it aired on TV. Lately I've been caught up in the DC/Marvel Universes & trying to add many DVDs to my collection. This set is quite expensive in stores. Overall the series is entertaining. Some of the stories are not very exciting, but the characters are all extremely engaging. Lex Luthor is the next best thing to Boyd Crowder from Justified! The background story & connection between Clark Kent & Lex is fascinating. In all of the movies we only see their hero/villain relationship. Smallville takes it so much deeper. My favorite series of all time!

Worth the purchase
I watched this show when it was on tv, but I couldn't keep up with regularly since I wasn't able to record it. I didn't necessarily need a fancy box set, but the price was good and everything arrived in "like new" condition. Very happy with this purchase. The show is interesting to get an idea of how superman became the superman he is today. Even if you aren't a superhero fan, the character development of how Clark and Lex started out as friends and eventually became enemies is interesting.
