    Good solid laser which is cheap to run.

    I previously had one of these supplied by a firm I was working for so had a good idea of what they were like before purchasing one. HP brand so should be reliable. I bought this printer for my son, a student, so cost was a factor. Needed to be small and cheap to run. For a laser footprint is good just under 35cm x 35cm. Replacement remanufactured toner from good source about £12 for 5000 sheet cartridge. Features, print quality is really good, has auto duplex facility so can print both sides to save paper without having to turn over the paper by hand so called "manual duplex". Reasonably quick. Front slot for single sheet either envelopes or headed paper. So all in all versatile, cheap to run and produces good quality output.

    How to save lots of cash

    This printer is nice and compact and nearly takes a full pack of paper but picking up ink cheap means you save loads in ink costs . Only downside its black and white but does the job

    Workhorses

    These machines are terrific. They seem to go on forever without an ink change. They never seem to snag. A 1000 times better than the under £100 lasers. Buy second-hand with confidence.
