Bought this to replace my dated square taper chainset with a Shimano hollowtech2. Special tool required, but easy to fit. Looks great, and works great too.

Cheap but mediocre quality and not built to last
I've used this headset in 90% dry conditions, about 2700km. It started creaking recently and there's no way of taking apart the bearings in order to service it. It would be fine for occasional cycling but they're not built to last, I'd recommend more expensive products for any more serious instead of having to swap out bottom brackets multiple times a year.

It's interesting to read some people's views on this product and the unfortunate experience they have had. Mine have been excellent. To date i have put 18,000 miles on mine and it is still going fine. During that time around every 5000 miles I dismantle the interior which can be difficult to do and re grease the bearings. I have also replaced the bearings on this model for a friend which i purchased on e bay for a fiver. I have also put ceramic bearing in these. Square taper upgrade
Perfect option to upgrade from square taper to more modern, straightforward swap out, no spacers required, very pleased with mine. My wife has this on her bike already, several thousand miles done and going strong. A+++++
